Buckhorn is a small city located in Perry County, Kentucky. The small city is positioned in the northwestern corner of Perry County and southeastern Kentucky. According to the United States Census Bureau, there were approximately 157 people living in Buckhorn in 2016. It is the 6th largest community in Perry County.

Despite the small size of Buckhorn, there are many amenities located around the city. Religious individuals attend Buckhorn Lake Area Presbyterian Church. Buckhorn Elementary School serves the educational needs of young Buckhorn residents. The city is also home to a United States Postal Service facility. Many residents enjoy dining at Cody’s Corner & Kristen’s Café. This is one of the most popular restaurants in Buckhorn.
